Don't listen to people that haven't done the research or even tried it. How can you get a reliable answer if they don't know anything about it?

If you go to http://www.pubmed.com and type in Goji's latin name "lycium barbarum" you will get over 75 proven scientific studies showing that Goji works. Also, type in polysaccharides and you will see over 300,000 scientific studies. Here you will see many independent scientific studies.

Yes Himalayan Goji juice is rich in antioxidants, but it contains so much more. Goji contains 22 polysaccharides, and 4 unique bioactive polysaccharides that aren't found in any other food on the planet.
Your body's cells need polysaccharides to repair themselves.
Goji juice also contains 19 amino acids, 21 trace minerals, 13% protein, carotenoids, Vitamin C, B-complex vitamins, Vitamin E (rarely found in fruits), Beta-Sitosterol, Essential Fatty Acids, Cyperone, Solavetivone, Physalin, Betaine, and many others.

There was an independent study done by a Johns Hopkins University physician (Dr. Victor A. Marcial-Vega). Dr. Marcial-Vega has designed a way to video blood cells under a microscope. He does a study on how drinking Goji repairs the cells. He had heard of the effects of Goji wanted to see for himself if it really worked as claimed. He was quite amazed at how fast it did repair the cells. The person in the study was not on anything but Goji. If you email me I will mail this video study to you.

Some people take a little longer in feeling the effects of Goji, due to a slow metabolism. Also, if a person has quite a few ailments it may appear that the Goji is not helping this person on the outside, but it is helping on the inside of the body. Goji repairs your body by repairing the blood cells, if they are severely damaged by illnesses, the repair time will obviously take longer.

I have so much more I could tell you, but obviously I'm not going to write a book on here. If you would like to know more, just email me at jdawsonx8@yahoo.com. I will do my best to answer any questions you may have. I am NOT trying to sell you anything. I just want you to be informed.

Yes Himalayan Goji Juice is as great as people say. It has greatly improved my health and the health of my family.

There are 3 great answers on here by John D., Jessica M., and Billie D.. So I will not go into great detail.

There is a difference between Himalayan Goji Juice and regular goji juice. The Goji Berries from the Himalayan Mountains are the only ones that contain the 4 unique bioactive polysaccharides.

I don't understand why others on here are carrying on about their products antoxidants. Sure Goji has antioxidants, and your body needs them. But polysaccharides are soooo much more important.

If you go to www.pubmed.com and look up antioxidants you will get 136,794 scientific studies. But, if you look up polysaccharides you will get 320,381 scientific studies. Now that's impressive!

About the ORAC scales. They claim they are a government research organization. But they are NOT. The USDA used to use them years ago, but found that they were inaccurate.

Just because you are a professional researcher doesn't mean you know everything. Or that you aren't close minded. And if you are getting a kick back off referring your product, Then you ARE a distributor!

Don't listen to those ignorant, uninformed people that gave answers. With the exception of John D.. He gave a great answer. He sounds like he knows his stuff.

I've been drinking Goji for several months now. And I will be a Goji drinker for life. My whole family drinks the stuff. And we are not distributors. We drink it because it actually improved our health. I was on allergy pills everyday for 13 years, and now , thanks to Goji I no longer have to take anything. And I did lose weight. My father-in-law had sever acid reflux, meds didn't help him either. But the Goji did. My mother-in-law is now off her glucose pill for Diabetes Type 2. Her blood sugar is perfectly balanced now. And her doctor was actually amazed. And she lost weight too. We all have a lot more energy. My husband had heart palpatations, and was always fatigued. He hasn't had any heart palpatations and has lots of energy. Plus it has improved our sex life, Greatly!!!

If you've never tried it, you wouldn't understand how great this stuff is. There IS research, and scientific backing. Doctors and scientists are in awe at the power of this wonderful berry. But, there is no knowledge greater than personal experience.

My family and I are willing to pay $37.00 a bottle because it works for us. Meds didn't help, they just masked one problem, and caused other ailments with their side effects. For the first time in our lives we are free from the ailments that plaqued us for years. And Goji doesn't have any side effects.

Sure celebrities drink it. Why not? They drink it because they know it works.
You know what, they drink orange juice too. Should we all stop drinking orange juice just because celebrities do?

Taking goji, acai, or blueberries does absolutely no good whatsoever if it isn't in combination with a healthy diet, exercise, and weight loss routine. The antioxidant properties of goji, acai, and blueberries are well documented, but few people put into practice the necessary complete lifestyle change thinking that these are a cure-all... they're not. If you are going to spend the money on an anti-oxidant health juice, then you should go with ViaViente. It is the only one backed by clinical and independent 3rd party research (and FYI, I am a researcher by profession). Not to mention, it is also backed by non-paid celebrity endorsements (Terry Bradshaw for inflammation of his knees, and Peggy Fleming as a breast cancer survivor)

ViaViente is the LEADER in 100% natural, whole food juice products. ORAC units (anti-oxidant levels) of the 4 major competitors are as follows: ViaViente 2,451; Xango 1,031; Noni 567; Goji 457. If your mum is taking Goji, she is drinking the least effective juice on the market.

Anyway, ViaViente has reduced my husband's blood pressure significantly, I am no longer on any allergy medications (I was on 3), my kids have not had a drop of motrin or tylenol in a year, and it's a natural energy booster (if you want to have less caffeine in your diet).

It costs less than $5/day...and it is worth it. It saves me tons of $$$ in these ways:
a) it replaced all the multi-vitamins in my household (the kids' vitamins were full of sugar, anyway) and adult multi-vitamins have warning labels on them.
b) it saves us tons of money because there are no more medications in the household (no hi blood pressure, allergy medications, tylenol, etc)
c) My kids won't eat vegetables. But just four ounces a day of ViaViente = 20 servings of fruits and vegetables So, I can feel good as a mother that my kids are getting more than any average person (which is 2-3 daily servings). And just think, it costs more than $5 for 20 servings of fruits and vegetables.
d) most people spend more than $5/day on things that are not healthy, so I feel good that I'm spending money on adopting good nutrition for my family.

My whole family loves this stuff and we all swear by it. We were recommended to it by a doctor (yes an MD) because I prefer to go the natural, whole food route than ingesting medications, added sugars, etc.

Yes, it is distributed by direct sales. I order 9 bottles a month for me and my family (and I love that it is delivered right to my door). And yes, my own order is paid for because I've made many recommendations. I don't actively sell, but I recommended it to my friends and family in the same way I recommended a good movie or a restaurant...and everyone so far, loves it too. Go to www.viabenefits.com for more testimonials.

Feel free to ask me more about the benefits of ViaViente. I can go on and on. Again, I recommend your mum change to ViaViente if she is looking to spend money on an anti-oxidant juice. I can point you in the right direction when she's ready. Best regards.

Just think of all the poor little gojis that get squished just so you can have your juice.

p.s. what the heck are gojis?

eat a healthy diet get some sunshine and live your life and don't worry about cheating death..can't be done

I think it's a crock. I have a friend who signed up to sell the stuff and he's been taking it but still he hasn't lost weight, still has high blood pressure and chest pains, still has headaches, all those things that this miracle juice is supposed to help with. I know a couple people who swear by it, but I think they're full of it because they're just trying to sell it. I don't think anyone drinks it who is not actually selling it (at $40 a bottle who could afford it!!??)
