Hmm tough, rock is good because it can bash scissors and then be used to smash a window in your cheating ex husbands house

scissors are cool as they can cut paper and then be used to stab ex husband in the back...

paper ia the best because when you wrap the rock you can write a letter to ex husband telling him what a s*** he is and then it can be re-cycled ...

paper is best other 2 are too violent

(-: That's the whole point -- each has equal advantages and disadvantages. You must look deep into your opponent's soul and figure out what s/he will come up with.

Seriously, it's a little harder to do scissors than the other two. Rock is too easy. I think most opponents will go for paper. So, if you choose scissors, I think it's possible to win slightly more than half the time. BUT, that's only for the first go. Some people study their opponents, and remember if rock scissors or paper is a habit.

Good luck!

I'm not sure but paper seems to be the biggest victim in real life as when the scissors cut paper, it makes it smaller (and depending how haphazardly the scissors cut the paper, if so, this can make the paper useless). Stone sharpening scissors is only good news for the scissors, surely. As for paper wrapping the stone, well, I'm sure if you wrapped a stone in paper and you smashed a window, I doubt if an excuse of 'I rendered the stone harmless by wrapping it in paper so I can't understand how it smashed the window!' would wash with the magistrates.
So, in reality, I reckon the scissors have it all good.

I find scissors handier than a rock or a sheet of paper for cutting things ... Paper slightly more easier to write on than rocks (plus the books have become slightly lighter since the introduction of paper), scissor-books, hmm, now there's an idea ... Rocks I find are great for many things, like sitting on at the seaside to stare out at sea .... scissors are a tad uncomfortable on that score and paper tends to become a little soggy.
On a semantic note ... Best is Best, Rocks are Rocks, Scissors are Scissors, and Paper is Paper ... so I guess none of them are Best as such.

Paper

Know your enemy,
Rock are chosen by the careful,
Scissors by aggressors,
Paper by the thoughtful/cunning
Statistically proven in a long winded and unsurprisingly tedious psychology experiment.
By the way, these are only tendencies but avearging them out you will win more than lose if you use these simple rules, good luck!!

I prefer stones. You can sit on them, make stuff with them, you can even make houses with them. And before paper, there was rocks, and you can even cut stuff with rocks, so I prefer rocks.
