I have been wondering and i still do if our departed loved ones see what we get up to during our time left on planet earth. I lost my parents (RIP) at a tender age of 10 and 11, but for that short time i had with them they instilled morals in me although on the other hand i was spoilt rotten. Since then, i have done some things i would be ashamed of if they knew or saw me do, it plays on my conscience. would someone please answer me this?

Yes I reckon they still see whats going on. I believe they are looking after you though. And that every body has a set plan in life, my mother passed away 2 years ago and although it was extremely hard I know she is still with me minding me every single day. If it was not for her parting I would not have been forced to become so independant, Im alot further ahead in life for my age compared to my peers.

Im sorry you feel ashamed of some things in your past, but havent we all done things we wish we hadnt? No one is blameless. All we can do is learn from mistakes, take the value from them and move on. Mistakes help us to become better people in the end, so dont worry so much about it. Your parents still love you.

Please don't feel like you have let your parents down, I am a spiritualist and i believe people do watch over us but not all the time (they can be discreet to). They tend to 'look in' when it is needed the most to give you help and guidance without you even knowing it. You wont be judged by what you have done its not like that, your parents would know that you have to make mistakes to get through life and you learn from them. Try not to think about letting them down because im sure that even though they instilled morals into you they must have done things in their life that weren't morally right, we all do at some point and unless we murder, harm or something awful like that i wouldn't be worried. The only person your accountable to is yourself. Take car hope this helps x

once we go to the other side we understand everything. We don't judge. Your parents instilled in you good morals, and you are showing that by feeling ashamed of things you have done. I know that they would be proud of you, as you do have a conscience. It doesn't matter what you've done so long as you keep it in mind and try to keep on the right track..

No they do not. The dead are conscious of nothing at all. But at the same time the memory of them is precious to us and we do not want to do anything to taint that memory. If you've done some wrong dont feel ashamed only on account of whether they see you or not, feel bad about your wrong and try to make a change for the better so that you'll feel happy that you've made them proud even when they were not there to see.

It depends what you belive really. No one can really tell you what's right and what's wrong about if they can see you or not.

I come from a spiritualist family and they believe in messages being sent down to you which I suppose could make you think that they can still see you or watch over you as it were.

Although I don't follow any religion I would say there's more to death than what we see so it is possible.

If you're afraid of what you are doing is considered shameful then dont do it.

Sorry for your loss at such a tender age, yes your loved ones will be watching over you, you may have even sensed them around you its that feeling your not on your own.
I dont think they will be ashamed you are bound to make mistakes we are only human.
Live your life to the full its probably what they want for you, dont beat yourself up .
I hope that will help.

Oh goodness what an embarrassment that would be You have to realise that we all have these thoughts and that it is not unusual to think such things.

However, what would be unusual is if we all worried to the extend that it made us feel ashamed. We are human beings and as such we do things that us human do. I won't elaborate but you know what we all do. As did your Mother and Father (God rest their souls).

Go and get out more and stop worrying.

Sorry to hear that your parents died when you were so young.

It is something that I have also considered, if it is true always remember: there are things that we all do that we may be ashamed about, your parents would have done so too.

So long as we all learn from our shame, thats what matters

My guess is no, on the grounds that dead people rarely pass judgement on others. Why don't you ask them, and if they don't reply then assume they are OK with whatever you are doing?
