everyone tells white lies, even the ones that are saying lies are bad. What if a co worker asked you if you liked her outfit? and you didnt? would you say no, its ugly. or would you say sure its nice. Sometimes white lies help to not offend people. therefore you are lieing to spare someones feelings.

I think it is ok only when you are trying to spare feelings .Unless it is something serious that they should know.
