I'm might be looking for a new university in a different city because my school doesn't have the best reputation for the money I'm paying. On the other hand, my GPA is 3.8. Should I stay?

Since you have proven yourself with your high GPA, you should have no trouble transferring. I started at a regular run of the mill college (saved a boatload of money!) and then transferred after 2 years to a prestigious university that made up for all the money I had saved!!

I will tell you from personal experience when you go job hunting, that prestige name OPENS doors. I say GO FOR IT!! Ands best of luck! But then with your 3.8, you don't need any luck because you have earned it!

A high GPA is important for many things. If you want to go to graduate school, then you should transfer to a better school and keep up your GPA.

If you want to work in another city, transfer.

If you want to work & live where you are, stay.

Well, if you keep up the good work then you won't have any problems in the other University even if you transfer. So I say, transfer and keep up the good work....
