I own Rick James first 6 albums on wax. Yes, that's right. Records! I also own Rick Springfield's greatest hits CD. And Adam Ant. And Berlin. And all of Madonna's early stuff. And somewhere in my record collection, I may still have a copy of the Footloose soundtrack. Actually, my record collection goes all the way back to elementary school, so I probably have everything Prince ever did, including all of his early stuff on wax from For You to Sign o' the Times.

Thats so funny because I still have a CD with Guns and Roses on it...I absolutely love them...
But I am really embarrased that I kind of still jam every time I hear Lisa Lisa & the Cult Jam.... (hide me)

I was never embarrassed liking musicians other people thought were stupid, or liking them was just "not done".
I liked "The Anita Kerr Singers", when I was young. (still got one of their albums)
Even "worse", LOL, I liked Cliff Richard's music, and I'm not ashamed to say I still happily sing along when one of his old songs is played on the radio.

i don't get embarrassed when it comes to stuff like that. if i like it then i like it.. end of story, no need to be embarrassed. actually i don't embarrass very easily anyway so i guess it depends on a person's personality.
