I came across this series a few weeks ago. While it is quite quirky, I find it quite funny at times ......... it's like an alternative version of The Office based in a trailer park.

i do. i think a british version would be quite easy, call it " the chavs " or something, set it on a council estate have them all wearing that **** casual wear they do, the women with 3 kids by the age of 17, the men in and out of prison, pissed up and/or smoking dope all the time. hang on that's reality, not a tv programme

My whole country finds Trailer Park Boys amusing. Actually, I think the show may pre-date The Office. They're into their sixth season here in Canada. The premise is a send-up of the classic dead-pan Canadian documentary tradition. It follows other notable "mockumentaries" as 'Spinal Tap' and 'Best in Show' and 'A Mighty Wind", also done by Canadians including Eugene Levy and Kathryn O'Hara.

Canadians have a quirky sense of humour really. I find the series kind of hit and miss but on the wole it is pretty funny. My favourite so far has been the Christmas episode where Ricky thought Santa Claus was real and went around promising everyone they would get what they want. he simply was going to write a letter to Santa and distribute the goods.

I'm sorry to hear that, but in understanding "christian" can mean various things as not all groups or denominations who claim to be christians, are not real christians....Jesus said there will be wolves in sheeps clothing. Maybe you were hanging out with the wolves, thinking they were sheep, and listening to them. I have had a quite different experience, His word says "seek and ye shall find"....I sought and I found the God of the Bible to be true and real. You do not need to convince yourself---sorry that is NOT HIS plan. His plan is by faith, and He says " Prove me now saith the Lord"---Proof of God, only comes from God, see also Hebrews 11:1 & 6.

Nope, and it sure spoils the end of the night. I mean, how can you follow South Park with that rubbish. Sorry, tried it many times when i can't be bothered to turn over the TV but it never gets funny. x
