The best place to get married is in your heart, you could spend thousands on a wedding and you could spend very little, as long as the two of you love each other and have made the choice to get married, does it really matter where the ceremony takes place?, have a small wedding and spend the extra cash on a honeymoon that you both will never forget, in most case's the frustration in setting up a big wedding puts allot of stress on the couple and it damages the relationship from the start, just enjoy each other and don't worry about having the best wedding in the world, i have seen both, large and small, small weddings leave little room for something bad to happen, and large ones leave a small tear in the relationship, that may take years to mend, its your choice, i hope no-matter what your choice is, you have a great wedding and live happy forever in love.

Have a small or a large wedding, whichever makes you happy. Planning a large wedding can be stressful, especially if you don't hire a wedding coordinator to help, but it doesn't have to damage your relationship! A large wedding is a great opportunity to unite all of your friends and family, and to let them share in your joy. There's nothing wrong with a small, private wedding, either, but I just wanted to add the opinion that a large wedding can be nice, too.

Any time is a good time to get married in Hawaii. The weather is always warm there, and flowers are always blooming, so there really is no best or worst time. Generally, the most popular months for most people to get married in are the summer months, so prices tend to be higher around May-June-July-August. To cut costs, you could get married before or after peak wedding season.

Sorry, I don't know anything about getting married in the UK, or Ghana wedding traditions.

As far as Japanese wedding traditions, there is the tradition of making 1001 cranes before the wedding for good luck. We did that before our wedding. There is also the traditional san-san-kudo toast during the wedding. Oh, and engagement gifts may be exchanged before the wedding. There's a long list of the gifts you're supposed to give, and their meanings, on the internet - just search for "Japanese wedding engagement gifts" - sorry, I don't remember them off the top of my head.

The customs your fiance will observe probably depend on where he was born and raised, and how Americanized or British he is. Don't worry, he'll help you with any customs you're unfamiliar with. What a wonderful way to learn new cultures and start a new life! Good luck!
