If you are referring to the Isle of Man , then you'll find the people easy going , the crime rate low , the cost of living equal to the UK , the culture revolves around getting drunk , the health care similar to a butchers shop , the government rule as dictators , , and what might call for a £25 fine in the UK will very probably result in 12 months in prison .

In all the best thing in the Isle of Man is the ferry off !

ps, It is NOT part of the UK and it has NO human rights laws ,
If the local gov decide to cripple you , you cannot appeal to the UK Courts , Queen of England , European Union , or even NATO .

You might be referring to the Isle of Man. Named after the Celtic god of travel and trade Mannanan.

It is off the west coast of England and was an early Viking stronghold. It has it's own parlimentary government and is part of the United Kingdom.

It's also informally known as "Spider Island" due to the abundance of spiders there. It also hosts the annual motorcycle race known as the TT Races.

It's capitol is Douglass. I really like it there and have fond memories of that place.
