From the Mother Board Manual or consult the mother board manufacturer web site for type of RAM that board supports

Buy & Add that RAM

these days technology move fast so you have to keep up to the same speed so the best thing to do is to buy another mother board and another RAM ..if you dint have the money keep seeking for the ram of your kind because i know you will have to waste the 512 ram and other components ..so the best advice buy a new PC keep the other one for light work

Hi!

You are "probably" having an older computer, such as mine., Your memory seems to be SDRAM DIMM modules.
Timeline:

SDRAM SIMM > SDRAM DIMM > DDRAM DIMM > RDRAM DIMM...

SDRAM modules can still be found, but they are more expensive than DDR. I'd suggest a new MB, since this is what I want to do myself.
SDRAM is slower than DDR.

Good luck!

PS:

SIMM = Single Inline Memory Module
DIMM = Double ...
DDR = Double Data Rate
