Just one day with your parents? Give them more than that!!! You can only know what you're enjoy doing so I really can't help you with that. But meeting up with friends and catching up the old times isn't such a bad idea.I would also go to the movies and wonder around the city..Enjoy!

I suggest spontaneity. Your whole life is planned every minute of every day while being deployed, so while you are on leave do what you want to do. Too much planning might backfire, even the best laid plans are messed up by uncontrolled variables, then disappointment sets in.

The whole objective of leave is to rest, whether it be mentally, emotionally or physically. If resting consists of bungy jumping, do it. If you like to sit and do nothing and have peace and quiet, do it.

Do what YOU WANT TO DO! It's your time, and precious.

By the way, thank you for serving. Our military keeps this country the way our forefathers wanted it. FREE! The best of luck to you!
