I like the cozy look more than anything so I would go with wooden colored walls .. I know ... weird

I painted mine nice blue fading to a darker blue to simulate the night sky. My curtains and bed are light blue with clouds. It is very soothing an dreamy.

I love purple, and I painted my bedroom a light mauve, it looks great especially since I added the purple bedding and curtains....
