There are a couple of things that could cause the horn to fail to sound.

The horn itself could have gone bad.

A wire could be loose on the horn,

The horn relay could be bad.

The clock spring on the steering column could be bad.

The easiest way to test to find the problem is with an electrical test light. These are available at most parts and many other stores, for a couple of dollars. Start at the horn. Remove the wire from the horn, and with a friend pushing the horn button, check to see if there is power to the horn. If there is, your horn is bad and needs to be replaced. If there is no power to the horn, check for power to the horn relay (under the dash). If there is no power there, the problem is in the steering column!
