It depends on every individual.
First one must remember that mascara must be thrown away after 2-3 months, to avoid bacteria growing in it to get in you're eyes, so work from that.
I don't wear mascara often, maybe only once a fortnight, ans then it's only for a night out when I go out, so for me, buying expensive mascara is a waste as I only use half the tube, and I only wear it for a few hours, so I don't need extra strong coverage or anything.
I know someone who wears mascara every day, and swears by clinique, because it has a good finish and stays on for many hours during the day. Because she wears it maybe 6 days a week, she can comfortably spend more, because she'll finish it all in 2 months time.
So in the end it boils down to how often you use mascara and how long you need it to stay on for.

I looove make-up and I love to try different types and brands. That said, mascara is not one of the items I splurge on. The trick to wearing mascara is applying it moderately and evenly and avoiding the urge to put it on as thickly as possible. Putting on one coat evenly and separating your lashes, either with the mascara wand itself or an eyelash brush or comb, is a surefire way to great lashes.

As a previous poster said, mascara does need to be discarded something like every other month, due to the possibility of bacteria growth. This also helps you keep it fresh and further reduces the possibility of clumping.

I prefer the even cheaper brands such as collection 2000! The cheaper ones are thinner in consistency so they go on smoothly with no clumps. All I do is apply a few layers. I have found that the more expensive ones are too thick, clumpy and end up flaking.

It doesn't matter on the brand. But of its quality. If the brand is known for its top qualities then I wouldn't mind the price. I would recommend using the L'OREAL waterproof Panoramic Curl mascara. It gives a 360 degrees extreme curve and separation. Of course if you want a more thicker lashes I recommend you to use L'oreal Volume Shocking mascara. It coats your lashes 12x and truly enhance to shocking volume.

The dollar keep ones have consistently labored for me merely effective, and that i've got used approximately 30 of them (TTC took an prolonged time)! The EPT ones would have the flexibility to %. up the hormones in easy terms some days until now, yet you pay so lots extra for them. while i eventually have been given my beneficial try, i think of it became the day until now my era became due.
