I'm not a fan of hers, but it baffles me that she inspires such strong hatred from conservatives. Is it just because she's Bill's wife. She's really not even that far to the left. Hell, as far as I can tell, with some minor adjustments she could run as a republican. What's this all about?

That's a little over the top, Marty.

lol This is exactly what I don't understand. It's like conservatives think she is the antichrist.

I don't understand the strong hatred either. I would hate to think it is because she is a woman, but I strongly suspect that is the real issue.
She has some very good ideas. And I am very glad she was elected to the Senate.
Peace.

It's not just about being Bill's partner in crime. Hillary Clinton's RECORD speaks for itself . NOT THAT FAR LEFT? How far left do you mean ? Hillary was a "follower" of the radical master himself , Saul Alinsky . Hillary was chairperson of the New World Foundation when a $15,000 grant was awarded to Grassroots International , which had direct ties to the P.L.O.
Do you mean she doesn't have ties to the radical left democrats ? Or radical Muslim left ? Wrong on both counts . Hillary was the 1st First Lady to come under criminal indictment . She shares her husbands scandals because she was a big part of them . She was the taskmaster for Whitewater who pulled the strings and let the McDougals take her fall and go to prison , incidentally ,Susan McDougal called the Clintons "terrible people". But we knew that .When other scandals came up-papers are always mysteriously shredded-and then other times -not so mysteriously . We still don't know what the classified documents were that Sandy Berger smuggled down his pants for the Clintons .I don't know-maybe it's the way Hillary shrieks with every staged event to pump herself up . Maybe it's the way she wants to control the Internet -and "decide" what information should and should not be made available on the Internet . Maybe , just maybe the American population isn't ready for socialism ,Marxism or communism . Maybe ..

Republicans were afraid that Bill, with his moderate and even right wing policies, would take back the South for the Democrats.
Hillary is either a threat or a convenient whipping girl, I'm not sure which. A born Republican and a Methodist, she's very far to the right, actually. She supported the flag burning amendment and lashed out at Kerry for his remarks the other day. So Republican propagandists may fear she can co opt their agenda. The insurance lobby and the AMA surely must fear and hate her views on health care.
Since she is a woman, and a Democrat, she also serves as an outlet for the misogynistic impulses of many white male Republican males.

I even ought to assert, you position on your hypocrisy so nicely. quite a lot besides as your own denial that you're something yet compassionate and tolerant. The left is the most hate-crammed, indignant, vile, amoral and egocentric human beings the international has ever prevalent. in basic terms ask Pol Pot. Or Stalin. Or Mao. Or the Unicycler who threatens to kill human beings on the internet. EDIT: I even ought to snort on the "disabled" fact. My husband and that i helped commence a charity that advantages the disabled, and that i'm on the board of directors for yet another.

My dislike came from when she decide to move to the State of NY just to win an election. Seemed sort of a reverse carpet bagger move. Indicated to me that she was basically after personal power and it was purely a political move to position herself for a future run at the White House.

Hillary is one of those politicians who supports what is popular. Not because she is passionate about those issues, but because she's a 'poll checker', and tries to make people, like you, believe her. She has a long history of extreme liberal views. And I don't hate anyone. But HATRED is her 'game'. Check with some of her former closest confidants. Start with advisor Dick Morris. You'll have a real eye-opener.

She is a threat, she does have many people on her side but the repuglican hate machine is cranked up on high for her because she could possibly be the first woman president. She is much more popular then George Bush and they do not like that.

My question is why did she run for the Senate from a state that she didn't live in? My dad didn't like that and he is a yellow dog democrat. I think she is a fake and a phony.

When she stood up and led the clapping at the state of the union address in January, I just got disgusted with her. Sure, she has the right, but it was kind of like when you see something that scars you for life...I was fine with her until then. It just turned me off and ever since then I see horns on her head every time I see her.

Marty's right but there's more. She's a phoney. She's the only First Lady in our history to have been under criminal indictment. She's dishonest. She looted the White House on the way out the door.
