It depends on his other interests and needs.
Does he have any special hobbies, does he play sport (football, tennis, rugby etc). Buy him something to go with his interests, only you can know them. I seem to have all things that I need and tell wife, son etc to buy me a nice bottle of wine which I really like. I was given last year a small personal DAB radio and I use it often when out on my bike or walking and working. I have an MP3 player which makes listening to my chosen CD's easy anywhere that I am either working or on holiday or even trailing around the shops looking for Christmas presents.
Sit down and think, then browse through the Argos catalogue for firm ideas. By the way socks are always in demand as they do seem to wear out quickly these days. Does he or should he use handkerchiefs?
Good question and good luck with the solution.

The best thing I've come up with is gadgets. Little things around the house that are fun. A couple years ago I bought my parents a massage pad. It was only about $40 and has different heads to massage the entire body. You can just lay it on the bed. GREAT way to relax. You can buy them at places like Target, most malls, sharper image. If he's into new things, take him out to try something new. A museum or movie. Books and music are good. The best things are new experiences you can share together. Since you're athletic maybe rock climbing?

Why not get him a flying lesson,,now that's really beats the crap out of socks and aftershave.
Better still why not treat him to a Tandem parachute jump,,this is where he gets strapped to a skydiver and they jump from 10,000 feet, that would be the thrill of a lifetime apart from making love to you,,I am sure he would crap his pants leaping from the aircraft and it really change his whole outlook on life after that.
You would have a new husband,,so full of himself,,anyways it's just a suggestion and have a nice Christmas whatever you decide.

Whatever interest he has how about a gift certificate for that or just money in an envelope? Take him out to the stores and let him show you what he would really like. You don't give a lot of info here so I can't e more specific.

With two brothers, a father and a boyfriend I'm always at a loss what to get them. BUT I have just come across this website
www.naturalcollection.com
that is full of boy gadgets and it's green! They've got a fire starter stick that my dad's gonna love. Even if your hubbies not the outdoorys type I bet you find something on here for him.

Unique tools, a magazine subscription for his favorite hobby, CD's of his favorite music, books that he would be interested in, a gift card for a store he really likes. Think about what his interests are, and go from there...does he enjoy outdoor, or competitive sports? Music? Reading? Cars? You're only limited by your imagination...go wild!

I know the feeling well! If you're feeling flush book a surprise weekend or week away somewhere lovely and hot. If you're a bit short buy him one of those really tacky 'Striptease Mugs' where as he drinks his tea the girl's clothes disappear. That will warm him up ;)

PS If he likes listening to music buy him an Ipod if he hasn't got one there amazing.

A great idea for a personal and unique gift is a handmade painting made from a photo that you send.

Check out this site: www.paintyourlife.com

The prices are reasonable and the outcome is amazing.

Golf clubs are always nice. lol If he already golfs, get golf gear.

An electric razor. A tie! lolrof How about a book or a set of DVDs...old John Wayne Westerns, or "Into the West," a series well-done about the Western trek of covered wagons and our mal-treatment of the native Americans.

A set of tools. Or, power tools...

Something to use or compliment a hobby of his...
