Global warming is a two sided coin. It will get hotter in the summer and the summer could last a little longer at this stage. Also the winter could be colder because the suns rays have a more difficult time getting through the pollution at the angle it hits during the winter months. Hot is hotter and cold is colder...

The term global warming means the AVERAGE mean temperature of the earth, not the average for one area. It might be much colder in your area, and more blisteringly hot in another. This causes changes in weather patterns which can damage crops and have other bad, detrimental effects on humanity and creatures in general

global warming is a process of hundreds or thousands of years you can't just look at the temperature year after year because one year may feel the el ninos effect and another year might not. you have to really look at the weather patterns centuries at a time to define a correlation in the temperature change

Global warming is simply the heat build-up in our atmosphere due to various sources i.e. smoke from bush fires, industry, motor cars, the sun. And it's inability to escape into space through the atmosphere due to our habit over time of filling it with our waste products! It's to early to affect the cooler climates, but it will, Give it time! The ultra violet problem has got to be resolved as well, as that is getting through from the sun in larger quantities due to a depletion in our Ozone layer from the over use of fossil fuels! What a wonderful world! Hey?
