I always believe early on in the relationship, it's always best to keep separate accounts. Less complicated that way should things not work out between the both of you.
I have a friend who has been with her partner for over 2 years and now they are going through a complicated procedure via the legal route to get what is her share and it's tedious.

If you and her are not married it may be better off for her to have her own account. You guys might want to establish a house account ot pay bills. But she should not have to answer to you about her money and you should not have to answer to her about yours. You guys should be able to pool money when neccesary for the things you want. But collectively keeping it together can cause accounting problems down the road. I hope you stay together and get married.

she is showing you that she trusts you not to rip her off, but i think that there should be some of her funds put in a seperate account, so she wont have to ask you for an "allowance"
