I know theres a card game in which you can make decks with marvel and DC characters. I forget the name of the card game due to that i never played it. And i think Heroclix had the same theme too. But crossing over by movie or tv show. I never seen it happen.

A lot of times. There was Superman vs. Spiderman, Superman vs. the FF (Superman became Galactus' herald), Batman vs. Hulk and vs. Spiderman, etc.
Not to mention the short-lived Amalgam Comics, in which the most popular DC heroes fused with those from Marvel to form one single new character. In those comics, even the villains and second characters were a fusion of two or more different entities from each Universe. Look up Amalgam Comics in the Wikipedia.

A few times, in the 70's there were Spiderman/Superman, later there was Batman/Hulk and in the 80's there was Teen Titans/Xmen, more recently ( 2004/2005) there was Justice League/Avengers, before that was DC vs Marvel and the Amalgam series

Yes tons of times.

They did a mega crossover where the two universes crossed over, then combined and then went back to normal.
The only problem was that the fight outcomes were not based on logic but on how many times geeky comic teens could go back to the store to vote.

Also a few I know of that they did were the silver surfer/green lantern crossover, a batman/captain america crossover set in the 1940's (joker's reaction to the red skull is priceless and very patriotic).

Batman has crossed over with both spiderman and the punisher. (azbats was in one of them)

way way way back they also did a batman/hulk crossover and spiderman/superman.

They did one with the x-men and some dc characters too.

It isn't easy to do them largely because dc's drawing power is pretty much just limited to batman and he has been in most of the crossovers already.

It's happened before and there have been times when DC and Marvel characters united *The Onslaught storyline is a classic example..poor Professor X ;)*

A ridiculous amount of times... and about 85% of them sucked. Especially the most recent Marvel vs DC crossover... where most of the action was resolved in about 2 or 3 panels. it is a cool idea but they just haven't gotten it right yet.
