A Question for conservatives. Why do you hate poor people and minorities so much?

I do not hate the poor. I do not hate minorities at all. I am not going to pay taxes to offer welfare to people who can earn their own way. I am not going to support affirmative action because it is reverse racism. I support all Americans getting an education, not the garbage that the government run schools dish out.

I understand that poverty is a mindset. We spend so much time trying to get the people out of the ghettos that we do not get the ghetto mentaility out of the people. Understand this and you will understand conservatism.

I am conservative and poor. I don't hate anybody. I do reserve a certain contempt for those that do not help themselves. Skin color has nothing to do with it. Yes, I am white (well, more peachy cream). You believed the question about the vette? That was bs, I thought that sort of thing was commonplace here. Besides, what is sick about a Corvette?

My answer is why do liberals and democrats want to keep poor people and minorities at the level they are at?

Have you ever asked yourself why states that were hit hard like New Orleans durining Katrina received very little press coverage?

Or have you wondered why the mayor, Nagle refused poor people a place to be safe, or the fact that he left for 5 days to take care of his family.

What happened to all those folks who have become dependent on the government for all there needs what happened when the government collapsed?

Why when people were looting color TVs and stereos did the local government respond by wanting to take away legally owned and registered firearms to prevent people from being raped and looted?

That, Mr. Liberal/Atheist is discrimination. Better to be a victim, right?

I am conservative and I do not hate either poor people or minorities. I do mostly criminal defense appointment work (state paid--bottom feeder).

I can tell you first-hand that the "solutions" posed by the Democrats do nothing to fix the issues of the poor and minorities in America.

Their plan will keep you poor.

I am a conservative and my family of three has a yearly income of $20,000 per year, is that poor enough for you? I don't hate minorities I just don't think it is fair for illegal immigrants to have more rights then my family does, I am totally disabled can't even sit up for more then 2 hours at a time and have been fighting to get Social security for the past 2 years, why should illegals be entitled to something a 42 year old American who worked her entire adult life isn't?

Dude, I don't hate anyone. I help the poor by volunteering. I have had 3 best friends throughout my life, two were black, and one was mexican. I have no problem with minorities, just affirmative action

Us white conservatives don't hate anyone or want to keep anyone down. Why don't you find out why your Liberal party leaders keep telling you lies. Are they afraid of the truth? Most conservatives are BLUE collar, rural Americans like me that are far from being rich. We just believe in working for a living, standing on our own two feet, and being responsible for our own actions. And no I have enough trouble earning a living I don't want to earn yours too, wile your enjoying your latest toke and whining

I'm filipino and I'm not poor. I own a $450K home with 3 cars and I live comfortably thank you. I volunteer with local youth to help feed the homeless.
