To dispose of it- there is always going to be ice used for cooling items and not drinks- you can't put that in a drink, so it must be disposed of. Putting it in the dish sink is no good because there are sanitation laws- dishes must be washed at a certain temp, and with a certain concentration of soap for the wash and disinfectant (usually bleach) for the rinse. The walk to the bathroom is often closer than the mop sink. Putting it in a toilet could lead to unwelcome splashing, so the urinal is as good of a spot as any. It's all water anyway.
