A Boom Box is also known as a Ghetto Blaster. Or it is basically a portable Tape deck or CD Player with attached speakers. It has a jack for head phones and is seen in the 80's or in movies about the 80's with people carrying them on their shoulder and dancing to the load music. Hope this helps.
