Is there any way to locate an obituary from 2000? I know the person's full name, who his spouse was and where in lived. I don't know what month, but fairly certain it was 2000. Any suggestions? Thanks

Do an Internet search for the Main newspaper in Topeka obituaries. Then by name.

I did this recently, just entertaining myself on line.Where I discovered my Ex-husband died in 1997 (it shows we never stayed in touch).
Boy was I surprised.

The library in Topeka or the Clerk of Courts office at the courthouse in Topeka...both archive. The library would have newspaper obituaries archived and the courthouse would have records of birth and death certificates...this is public information so you should have no problem in getting answers
