Someone has to play the great man. It might as well be the unpredictable guy, who most people would agree has a chance even if he's more likely to implode on himself.

To draw a paralell, what was the point of watching Arsenal destroying Reading 4-0 in football recently? According to Paul Merson "Reading fans should feel privileged to witness this sort of football at all". So I guess there was a point to the game.

If you make all your best shots and the ball comes back and sometimes it is a winner.also if You make your best serve and the other returns the ball to one side of the court you are unable to reach it,What else you can do:? Sometimes it is not a matter or courage it is a matter that the opponent is playing better than you. Nothing to be embarrassed. Fededer is an excellent player, I am not his fan, but he plays excellent most of the time. He has had his bad days too. Remember everybody can be defeated by someone worse, even Federer.

The truth is that Federer had a huge mental edge because of the feeling that he is unbeatable. Then the match starts and he does seem that good and he has broken your serve and has a 3-0 lead in the first. Then you remember the guy has lost one final in two years. I guess the guys just mail it in.

When Federer is at his best the opponent can't do much but plan for what bar to visit when the slaughter is over!
