You have a roving black hole around your house. It occassionally takes in peices of clothing, carries them around for awhile and then redeposits them in another place entirely. I have one at my place. Be patient, they'll usually reappear.

I have a four pound yorkie that takens anything she can pick up and drags it under the bed, couch or chairs. My four kids are good for kicking off socks and then she drags them whereever. Needless to say, I am constantly buying socks. If you don't have a dog or kids, then it is Miss Petunia. She takes my kid's homework and books also, so don't fret. We will try to keep her at our house more often!

LMAO, yes it's usually my socks. I think it has something to do with the sock-monster that lives in the dryer. I don't usually find them once theyve gone missing because i think the sock-monster keeps them until he finds a match himself, then he wears em till theres holes, and somehow he disposes of them behind the washing machine. When i do finally find them, if ever, then theyre already worn out and useless...but if you know any good traps for a sock-monster please email me!!!!

just socks get to missing here, and I usually dont ever find them...so if I have one sock and not the match I use it as a cleaning rag, dust cloth

Yeah, I thought I was losing my mind, until I discovered something lost in the garbage can. I have been divorced from that person for 2 years now. Ah, all my clothes where they belong now.

We have a cat who likes to take socks or gloves and play with them. When our dog sees this he takes it for himself. Sometimes if we don't catch him in time I find it in his sh*t outside. Bad, Reuben!
