Since cricket is a game of uncertainties, nothing can be predicted for sure about the outcome of a tournament in advance especially about the outcome of a tournament to be played after couple of months at this stage as even it is not clear who will be the players representing each team.
The world cup 2007 is at this stage is open for any team who peform well consistly to grab

Too Early To Predict. Australia has always a chance to excel ...But Cricket is a game of possibilities. so possible for other teams as well, but i will exclude Bangladeah and zimbabwe from the list of "possible candidates".they still have a long way to go.

nagraj i wish INDIA winning the world cup 2007.but I think its not possible till INDIA gets real talented players and non-currupt selection comm.I think we can now say that ethier of AUSTRALIA or WESTINDIES get the 2007 cup.

I think West Indies. They played well in recent matches. My choice is west indies because next world cup will play in their soil. That is advantage to them.
