we have been so intimate the last week, and it feels so weird for both of us, but it feel soo good, maybe because we know it's frowned on, but the strange thing is that when we kiss eachother it's more passionate because thank sleeping together because we are so passionate and it taked our breath away....we cant get eachother out of our minds...it's the best love making i have ever had (sorry if this makes anyone upset) i get butterflies and it's such a great and maybe naughty feeling, but i love it, and we both could easily get the opposite sex with no problem, but we want eachother

Love is life, and the reason we are here. Prioritize it above social rules and judgements.

In many countries even 1st cousin marriages are encouraged. This is a social issue. But the key to your answer is that you are young. You don't want to risk other family relationships unless you are really in love with one another. And since you are young your feelings can be very strong but short lived. This is hard to foresee from your point of view though. I suggest you try to spend less time together and when you do makes sure you aren't alone. Meet others, find new interests and hobbies. In other words don't focus on your feelings for each other as they will only intensify and that since you are 'forbidden fruit' to each other it will get harder and harder to resist the pull. If you continue to have feelings for each other in a year or two then you can look at what your options are. But don't do anything you will possibly regret. Always put the other person's feelings before your own.
Best wishes!

Okay, how closely related are you? If it's a brother-sister relationship then I seriously recommend that you reconsider your stance here, because it is not healthy (or legal) to date or marry somebody so closely related to you. How do you feel about this person? You need to ask yourself whether it's worth it putting yourself in such a situation where I'm sure that your family will not be very comfortable with you dating this girl. Be honest: is this love or a passing infatuation? I know it must be hard for you to consider it, but it is important that you think some more before you doing anything. Good Luck, and be careful!!!!

Dr.Phil covered this topic a little while ago and his research ,I believe, showed that anything beyond 1st cousins marrying did not represent a significant risk of defects in the children of such a relationship. Perhaps it would be worth the effort to try his web site.

my husband and i just got married yesterday nov 2 and we are first cousins,We love each other and we cant help it . We have actually been together for 12 years and at first the family was upset then when they seen we were going to be together reguardless, it was except it or not, we didnt care. People frown on this kind of relationship but if you love her go with your heart. In Georgia it was legal for us to get married we also have a daughter 11,and she is fine,No deformitiesor retardnation. Be happy you only have one life live it happy

How related? 2nd cousins? It's common. It's a bit weird but, it's legal. If you are any closer related than that, you need to stop seeing eachother. Maybe you should move to another city and seek counselling.

There are sooooo many "good looking" non-relatives out there!
Why did you have to hook up with your cousin. She is soo close to you....she could be your sister!
And the girl that just got married......um Georgia you said? We already know about the "south" and its mentality....don't need to give any more details thank you very much!

if you're related then why is it soo hard to understand that you two can't be together? 99% of the people around you won't agree. you are given free will to choose what you want to do. you just chose to ignore the obvious answer

Not to worry as long as you're not brother and sister, father and mother. You can marry your first cousin . The closest you can married is half brother and sister. Of course check your state laws. You're okay. As long as you find out it's legal. Go for it. Lots of luck. May you have many happy years ahead.
