A person must be happy, fulfilled and contented in his/her place of work. Those are the first things that should be taken into consideration. Each person must create a road map of her short and long term plans incorporating her interests and personal goals with the company's vision general vision. This way, the employee feels she is genuinely a part of the company and will in turn give her best. The "carrot method" reward is achieved by the employee if she gets to achieve what she herself has planned...Of course, the employer's vote of confidence should always be there.

The most helpful advice I can give you is this; take a look at your life. What do you want for it and from it? If you could choose how to live it (and you can) how would you? Make a list, then finish your motivational factor. Everybody wants self-fulfillment, wants to feel needed and wanted. Remember the word use in the movie Jerry McGuire, The "QUAN"? That's what we all want...now word it in a way that is suitable for you and your industry.
