simply put ice cubes on your eye bags. and try to get a lot of sleep. and the above tips are also great. don't let your head be lower than your body when sleeping because blood rushes to your arteries and veins in the eyes thus making them swell and make your eyes puffy. add a little height to your pillows!

All these are good suggestions. Rest and breaks from the computer are mandetory! I like Prep. H cream, but not the ointment. My grandmother used it and it works better than any eyecream I have ever used (I am 51). I have a gel eyepack that I like. However, I also have a lot of allergies, which can make your eyes puffy. I have this problem and I hate it. Decongestants and antihistamines help. Some folks resort to surgery. If it is actually interferring with your vision, some insurance plans will pay for it.

If your skin is oily, wear an under-eye GEL. If it is dry, wear an under-eye CREAM. Wear this twice a day.
For instant relief, dip a metal spoon in chilled water for a few seconds and hold the back of it on your closed eyes. Do this as long as you want. It is very refreshing and really opens your eyes up!

good sleep, relaxation (lot's of quality physical pleasure ), hot toddy, less stressful employment. a very long and enjoyable (lot's of childish play time) vacation. then kiss all the male frogs at work in hopes of finding a prince, or at least a jester (afterall laughter helps relieve stress).

A little dab of Preparation H will take the swelling down, models use all of the time. Just don't get it IN your eyes.
