Whatever you say... I'm proud that I work and take care of myself, call it whatever you want. Are you suggesting the middle class is inferior? I judge people by character traits, not money. Personally I think working, supporting yourself and your family, and being an active member of society is more admirable than your lifestyle, which you describe in your other question. Fair play to you if you're happy and not doing any harm, but you sure as hell aren't in a position to look down on anyone.

perhaps it incredibly is using fact they are jealous, or maybe it incredibly is using fact different center classification people have disrespected them as working classification persons, which does take place besides. attempt and undergo in concepts that maximum working classification families (like mine) don't have the economic opportunities which you probably did, and growing to be in society is lots complicated for them. even nevertheless they do no longer look to be justified in this questioning, many could think of which you seem down on them considering the fact which you're making extra funds or have extra helpful manors in spite of the reality which you're well mannered. the suitable reason of resentment is that college, the media, and society all prepare which you are able to circulate to varsity and make a ton of money to have a happy existence, and oftentimes shows little admire for the reality that working classification everybody is the backbone of society. It additionally sucks once you injury your returned at artwork all day and your neighbor on welfare lives extra helpful than you do. i'm no longer justifying them treating you disrespectfully, i'm in basic terms asserting that there are multiple valid reasons that they could be offended and it would help to maintain them in concepts while attempting to have interplay.

Life is boring without work. After all your hobbies are work you choose to do without being paid. We don't necessarily put all our energies into paid work but if you do no work at all, have no goals or motivation or routine, you are more likely to be unhealthy and depressed. Why would you want that?

Some careers are seen as more middle-class than others, because you need certain educational qualifications. But finding the right job to suit your skills, and having the right attitude is the most important thing.

Work is not just for people who come from the Middle Class, I suggest you go back in time and say that to Victorian Britain, just to see what reaction you get! I come from a Working Class background, and I'm proud of my roots! Work is for everybody who wants to achieve something in their lives. But I'm guessing from the question you are on the Dole? in that case, stop sponging off the government and us decent taxpayers and get a job, you lazy chav!

You ask us not to be rude - but isn't your question a rude one?
Work isn't a dirty word, and it's 'for' everyone whatever their 'class'. Perhaps you consider yourself to be above working? Or maybe you are a 'scrounger' off the state ?
Some of us have our pride and whatever our status, would rather work and pay our way than sit back and get a free ride.
