If you don't even know the difference between biology and geology, and you're trying to do what was probably your homework in a rush at school, my recommendation would be that you DO your homework - it will make it lots easier in the long run! Even if you don't have any intention of continuing with biology or science after leaving school, you may as well take advantage of your education while it's free - and the basics, I mean photosynthesis is essentially what allows us to live on Earth, as without it there wouldn't be any food and not enough oxygen in the air - can be really fascinating if you allow them to be.

Photosynthesis? Maybe you should check the Biology Section. The Earth Sciences and Geology section deals with Earth Sciences and Geology, not Biology.
