I do not "hate" the rich, I hate the selfishness, the consumerism, the fact that in the same country, we have houses worth billions and then we have people getting thrown in jail for sleeping in a park. They would let their own neighbor starve to death before they every gave up their Louis Vuitton bag. Now, I won't lie. There is a huge part of me that wants to be rich, wants to be able to buy shoes worth more than $20, has the money to actually go on holiday. But at the same time, I know that that power (Money is power) will get to my head. Although, I like to think I would help others, I wouldn't. I would become like Gollum from the Lord of the Rings.

How do you define rich? Even if everyone has lots of money. Some people would definitely have more money than others and those who have less money would be considered as poor so you see, being rich is relative, it is impossible for everyone to be rich.

Something similar to principle of conservation of energy is at work here. You can become rich only by taking something from other people or depleting a Geo resource like land fertility, oil reserves etc.The balance of nature requires hunter and prey, consumer and seller, rich and poor.Don't worry.Over a period of time every thing gets evened out.Today's oil millionaires were poor desert nomads not a long time ago and descendants of some former royal families are now beggars.

People keep asking where would the poor go for work if everybody was rich.Come on-there wouldn't be any poor. The simple fact is that if everyone was rich then chaos would reign because not one of the dirty jobs would get done. Like communism it wouldn't work.

If everyone was rich no-one would be.
As wealth is comparatively assessed and everyone would have same wealth, thus no-one would be poor or rich, also the price of everything would increase.

It will be very nice if everyone is rich. That is ideal..
But if everyone is rich, will they want to work anymore? Unless they do, what will this world become?..

Everyone is rich. But they just don't know it. It's only that some are richer than the rest.
