It seems like everytime i watch la liga or Barcelona in the champions leage i can hear them with their ignorant chants everytime a black player touches the ball.

This does seem parculiar seeing as soom of the best players that play in La Liga are Black. Samuel Eto, Roberto Carlos, Ronaldo to name a few out of possibly a hundred. Are there any particular teams that chant or all of them? At the end of the day Spanish fans are passionate about their football and will find anything negative to chant about an aposing player

Spain has a long memory of having once been invaded by the Moors. It's also in the crosshairs of African illegal immigration into Europe. When the only dark skinned people a nation see are the poorest and most criminal of the race it tends to develop the erroneous belief that all members of a given race are that way. You probably wouldn't see this if college educated Africans were immigrating legally into Spain and paying taxes there.

Unfortunately Spain is 10-15 years behind places like the UK with regard racism, it's very common here, although their are still idiots in the UK who make racist comments they are in the minority, Spain is still a very racist, masochistic society, but it's getting better, hopefully in another 10 years or sooner there will be no racism in the UK and Spain will be where we are now.
