I have two choices to move into a place:
300bucks, I have to switch trains to get to work, no internet, in a dodgy neighbourhood, share with 2 guys (I'm a girl)
562 bucks, I don't have to switch trains to get to work, internet access available, in a genteel neighbourhood, share with 2 girls.

Which would you choose! Honest serious answers please, and why!

I'd share with the girls if I had to choose. More money but you need to think about your safety! Personally, I'd rather live by myself!

I am assuming that you have no need for the extra $262 /month that you'll be spending living in the genteel neighborhood. I think that if the guys are trustworthy, if you don't have to share a room, if you're not expected to do female stuff - wash dishes, wash clothes, keep the place clean, etc. - if the hassle of switching trains is not overbearing, and you don't need a gun and/or a big dog to get to and from the train station, I would opt for the cheaper place, at least for a while.

Besides, the experience of living in a dodgy neighborhood could be a real eye-opener as well as a much remembered life experience.

Your safety is more important. What's a extra 200 bucks to your peace of mind?

Choose the girls apt., you will have more in common with them, you really want to live in a good neighborhood (trust me), plus you can keep asking questions for me to answer on yahoo answers

I would choose the more expensive one. It sounds more practical. It might cost more but you will probably be more comfortable.
