b/c of our many foiled terrorist plans? Had we not done anything these plans could have been carried out and there possibly could have been another dark day in history similar to 9/11...so how many lives have been SAVED b/c of our War on Terror???

I'm not sure if I understand what your point is or who it's directed at. Of course we should be worried about terrorism, and we should do everything we can to keep our country safe. The disagreement is not over whether we should do anything. The disagreement is over what exactly should be done. Since you didn't mention any specifics I don't know what else to say.

Why is it our responsibility to "save" everyone overseas when we can't even take care of our own citizens?
We are a bunch of hypocrites telling the rest of the world what to do when our own government can't pull its own head out of its proverbial backside long enough to tackle real issues... preferring instead to argue over who slept with whom, when and for how long, and whether anyone else knew about it....

Consider the millions of people, mainly children, that have died from easily preventable causes like malaria, malnutrition, and so on, literally thousands every day, now consider what the united states did to prevent that, nothing, right, now keep on considering and you might just come to understand how mad these people are, the terror now is nothing compared to the terror to come
