Fish generally don't do all that well in air travel situations. You are taking a bit of a risk in taking them with you. If you absolutely MUST take them, pet stores sell small plastic travel aquariums. You will need to check with your airline to find out their specific rules as to bringing pet fish - be sure to tell them that fish are temperature sensitive so they cannot be checked and put in the hold. I'm sure the airline will give you specifications as to the type of container they can and cannot be in. Someone suggested a butter tub, but you may want something a bit more sturdy, such as a Tupperware container.

Good luck!

It depends on the airline. But fish can do very well on a flight if all the precautions are take to package them carefully and safefully to make for the tripe. Call the airline first though, and if they allow it I recomend using Bag Buddies for them.

No pets allowed on planes - fish included I think. Call the specific airline though and ask them what their policy is.

You cant take the fish with you. It's illegal to bring any animals from country to country. Family cats and dogs are allowed I think but they have to be registered and it's expensive.

put them in a small cooler. are they fish you eat or pets? you can put them in butter tubs and keep them in your bag. lift the lid every hour to circulate the oxygen. or just call the airline.

you probably need to talk to the airlines ahead of time they may insist upon special freight of some kind....
