Not for a king's ransom. What is the point in any of the comforts that money can buy without the person you love to share it with? No amount of money could compensate for the happiness of being loved unconditionally, and the loss of companionship would be very grievous to me.

How old are you? Stop lying to yourself. If you have money, power and respect, you will have a different perception in life and it's worth. You will find other things to be attractive and the past to be dull. Your new life might not be happy as your old but who say money will buy happiness?
Money changes all and whomever say something different know nothing about human nature.

there is so much more to life then money and/or possesions. I would rather be poor and struggle on a day to day basis and know that my partner will always be there, to hold me and tell me he loves and that it will always be ok, as long as we have each other, then be filthy rich and wondering what to spend/throw away my money on next, and lonely! Lets all remember, money cannot buy you the love and comfort of a life long partner!

I would like to say no!!!! However, that sort of money could have a profound effect on the quality of life. If this meant I could send my children to university and help with their future then it would be worth the huge sacrifice - you say nothing about partners access to children! So I presume they will not be denied their absent parent.

I wouldn't do it. If I wanted $1,000,000 bad enough I could get it. The only thing stopping me is me. My lady is irreplacable.

Money does not last for ever. Where as love with your partner will last for eternity. So my answer is no I would not leave my partner for money.

I'd rather be penniless, happy and in love than wealthy and dissatisfied. Happiness is more important. No amount of money can buy that.
