I know about Karen Carpenter, but that was a long time ago now, and it seems like people have forgotten about her. I'm talking about the Olsen twins(they were always small, but they seem to disappear more by the day!), Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff, Victoria Beckham and Nicole Riche. They are all so little!

It's already happened Chic! I know of two celebs who did die due to eating disroders, one was Karen Carpenter (The Carpenters) The other one was Lena Zavaroni. We all knew why they died but it didn't change anything!
What it will take is for the fashion world to accept that they are causing a lot of problems to women worldwide, and for the media to bar skinny celebs, such as Victoria beckham, Kate Moss and many more and tell them that and until they start to get help, put weight on ... The only public appearances they will be allowed are at medical conventions on eating disorders! Not forgetting education from an early age.
Trouble is ... The world of fashion and the media couldn;'t give a toss how many teenagers will fall prey to eating disorders as they are only interested in themselves, making money etc.

people have already died from eating disorders - even famous people - karen carpenter died from anorexia and yet look at twiggy (she was the same time as carpenter) and even now they don't care - it's about image. not all of them have eating disoders, some are just naturally that thin (i know people who are - i've seen them eat... and not leave the table to puke).
but no, their image is far more important to most of them - look at tracey gold, she battled it and is eating normal again and i haven't seen her on anything since she did her story on her eating disorder.

Maybe!Hopefully it will never have to come to that but the way celebs are disappearing before our eyes its the survival of the skinniest and it ain't pretty
