Perfectly normal, he is male and you are a female of an age where attractions will sneak up on you.

I had a crush on my french teacher at the same age. I met him five years after I left school and he had shrunk. He still had the dreamy accent though.

Of course it's not stupid! If you were to act on this infatuation however, that would be an entirely different matter. Enjoy it while it lasts, I'm sure everyone has fancied a teacher at some point in their lives. Just try not to think about him all the time though and enjoy your childhood!

Don't sweat it - normal, normal, normal.

I have a son who is 22, and I still remember having a crush on my math teacher when I was in 10th grade. He was hot, and several of my friends thought he was hot also. We were terrible, we would talk about him at lunch and discuss what physical attributes we preferred.

Does that mean that teenagers were worse 25 years ago than today? Hmmm

Enjoy your crush, just do your admiring from afar (as they say). Legally and morally he cannot 'fancy' anyone unless they are 1) at least18 and 2) he isn't their teacher.

This is totally normal, he sound fabulous all tall, dark, handsome and sporty! My friend fancied one of our teachers so much that she used to make us follow him around at lunch time, really embarassing for him and us, but she liked it!

Just realise that nothing could ever come of it and never try anything as it will be embarrassing for you and will put him in a really bad situation. Look and fancy all you like but never ever touch!

It is common for a student to idealize their teacher especially when the teacher is good looking too.
It might help you to remind yourself that you are only seeing this person at their best and that they may have flaws that are not apparent to you.
It could cost his job if the feelings are mutual and he responds to your flirtations.
Crushes are common in highschool.
this is not much different than loving a TV or movie star.
this teacher is a hero in your life right now.

If it is true love it will be patient and wait till you are no longer a student of his.
Just don't tell your friends if they are likely to tease you about it.
You may find yourself fancying any number of healthy people in the next few years.
You sound normal to me. Good luck to you.

I fancied my spanish teacher for months. Its natural to have these feelings but you must also use your brain in these matters. You know it could never work out and it would cause pain for you both. Enjoy growing up and move on because soon boys your own age will be throwing themselves at you.

I would definately say it's not stupid.
Students usually see their teacher as an authority figure and sometimes that sparks an interest with them, especially since they see them regularly. When you're the age you are you're still finding your sexuality and as you described your teacher, that probably really helps with your attraction to him.

I wouldn't say it'd be healthy to pursue him, but it's not wrong to like him a little bit. But it will pass, try to find someone your own age.

It's okay to have a crush on a teacher. In fact, it's quite normal...people just don't like to admit it. Just don't act on your crush. Be realistic, it would be very wrong for anything to develop between you two. Feel free to dream and fantasize as much as you want though!
