The reason I really asked this question, is because I have tried very hard to be very friendly, but I get the bad look. I just dont know how else I can improve my personality.

without meeting you in person it is difficult to say what u need to do to improve ur personality. Everyone is different and being superficial is a common problem in the western world.

I know PLENTY of hetereosexuals who are superficial.
but if you are going with a complete stereotype one reason could stem from the blantant hate towards gays. It is not easy to be homosexual and many individuals may put up covers to protect themselves.
