It is basically belief.

Do you have belief in horoscope, astrology, palmistry, numerology, Feng Sui, Vaastu, etc., etc., If you believe these you can also believe Tarot reading also. For any of this you should get an expert in the line. Anyhow with all these many people make their livelihood.

If you are really interested you can see the following web sites to know more details.

I love tarot, unfortunately for every one true aspect about it there are a million charlatans giving it a bad name, I have been interested in it long enough to figure out not to PAY for a "reading" and that a lot of the books about tarot are a load of crap, you really have to do extensive research to find down to earth information about it, without all the fluff, and airhead mentality. Usually the cost of a deck is less than the cost of a "reading" and the deck you can use again, my favorite these days is the Stella deck, (Tarocchi delle Stelle by Dal Negro) and the booklet that came with the Stairs of Gold deck.

If you are using Tarot cards as an oracle, you may be more inclined to read card meanings and spreads. But if using Tarot Cards as a tool for Psychic Ability you would be less likely to hold to any hard and fast guide lines. I’m a profession psychic and use Tarot Cards in a random way. In 25 years of professional readings I’ve never used any ‘meanings or spreads’ of tarot cards from any books.

So if you want to develop ‘Psychic Ability’ throw the books and guidelines away and let the images inspire you. But you may need to try the Rider Waite or another imaged deck.

I believe we are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense. The Psychic Sense.

To tap in to it more you can go to my free develop-psychic-ability page here: http://www.psychic-junkie.com/develop-psychic-ability.html

But on the other hand, if you want to use the Tarot as an oracle, a form of divination that needs no real ‘psychic ability’, then keep the books and use the meanings and spreads if you prefer.

Here is a free download demo for a great Tarot program. To keep the size of the demo manageable it contains the Rider/Waite deck, the actual program will have 10 complete decks. This Demo version of Tarot is a full working copy for 30 days. So you get 30 days to study meanings and spreads! http://www.free-tarot-download-demo.wotsnext.com

if you find someone that really knows what they are doing and your question is true of heart then no its not bull the fact is that someone on late night tv is not going to have the answers be weary of anyone who charges for a reading because someone that is a true follower of the faith will tell you that it is wrong to charge for a reading, cards give you the most possible prediction at that time, but any action you may take can change your cards, walk around the corner and stub your toe and your whole future can change. so it's wrong to charge for something that isn't really an exact science
hope this helps

Stephen, I really think you ought to find out for yourself! See how much $$$ you have and call a palmist, a tarot card reader, a spirit channeller, and hey, maybe someone who's been abducted too! If you still have any $$$ left you could then split it among those of us who've answered your question! It will give you a real spiritual feeling. Poverty and all that... Hey,I have some slightly wet land in Florida I need to sell also. It's not really a swamp, but....a home on stilts, really long ones, might work for you! ROFLMAO

Prophets have been around for a long long time. There has been documented claims of people seeing the future. Its been documented in the Bible and CIA invested millions in psychic research to conduct remote viewing. Ronald Regan believed in it. Does it work...go to a psychic fair and try it out. Meet a couple people...there are some people who are BSers and some I no explanation how they pull some of their predictions. Be open minded but either way you'll have an answer that will be complete.

I am tempted to say it is all BS but as with most other phenomina, there are certain, rare occurances that are extremely hard to explain. You want to get down to it. You can't actually be sure that anything is real so you can believe or not. Basically, it is all bs because if there is one person who can actually use them, there are a thousand who can't and use the name to make money.
