I tried several anti-virus/spyware/adware and it does not find it. I do not know how else to get rid of it. I just do not want to lose my files because I don't really have many cds to burn them on and not enough usb space.

btw. the problem is something keeps opening invisibly. i noticed cause when i am using a program in full screen it gets minimized. i think it's also deleting programs. So far, AIM disappeared and my gmail notifier. I just reinstalled them. Limewire also disappeared and all the games that Windows comes with (Solitaire). And even as I am typing this, for some reason it is like the left arrow gets pressed and starts typing again a letter behind.

ugh. so annoying.

No it won't but I can help you get rid of it. The same thing happened to me and all I can say is if you and I ever meet up with the guy who invented that trojan, and we are in a dark alley I PITY THAT FOOL!

LOL :-)
But all joking aside let me help you out. This answer won Best Answer recently on Yahoo Answers.

Go to this page below and you'll see free software that fixes your computer. Really free and you won't have to pay. I went to that page and in your case I suggest getting the program that is 1ST on that web page and try that first. That should fix it. Then run the program again in a week to see if the trojan appears again. I don't think it will as I had the same problem before and fixed it that way.

Go to this page
(Important: when you go here make sure you save to your favorites/bookmarks as when you click to download the software it takes you away from the page so you'd have to come back here to find the link again. So save to your fav's first then download)

Not likely, a trojan would be in your system files if you know you have one. So unless you reformat the hard drive and install a fresh copy it will still be there. Best bet is to get some anti-virus or check with you service provider to see if they have a malware removal software. Or check out Microsoft malware removal software.

Nope, the trojan gets in your system files and not in your XP user account.
U can get rid of it either by formatting your hard disk or by cleaning your computer by an anti virus.Follow this-
1.Download spybot search and destroy
2. install it>run it>delete any thing detected.
also try this----
1.install any good and resource hungry free anti-virus. like quick heal
or AVG.
2.update it with the latest updates from the vendors website.
3.turn off the system restore option by right clicking on the 'my
computer' icon >system restore>turn off system restore.
4.scan ur comp. with the antivirus.
5.delete any infected and suspected files.
6.download CCleaner from http://www.ccleaner.com and run>again
clean ur comp's registry with(issues) and also the temp. files.>close
CCleaner
7.Defragment your hard disk by choosing the disk defragment under the
system tools menu.
Restart ur comp.>if u think it is running fine, switch on the system restore option.
For future:---
1. keep the antivirus and update it regularly.
2. install an firewall like zone alarm
3. insatall an antispyware like spybot search and destroy.
4. use a safe internet browser like Opera form http://www.opera.com
5. never download any unknown or suspected stuff from the net.

I know this answer is boring!!!

not being funny but if your anti virus/spyware software cant find it then how do you know you have a trojan for sure. could it possibly be someone remotely connecting to your pc? just a thought!!

NO it won't. sorry. A very good antivirus app that is up to date.. or a FDISK, Format, and Install.

You could use an OS that the viruses and trojans won't run on of course..

Don't forget to scan your backed up files when you put them back on your computer. Nothing like reinfecting yourself to make your day!

Nope, you need a spyware detector to do that job. Best bets are Adaware or Spybot, they do a heck of a good job.
