I am in London and have Sky and a digital radio but can't find any. I have found lots of bangla, arabic and even gay radio stations but can't find any country.

Go to Yahoomusic.com and you can create your own station. They have a Ryan Adams fan station too which is great fro Modern (proper) Country!

Try Listening to Yahoo radio through their instant messenger. There's a Country station with some of the greatest modern country signers - lots of Brooks & Dunn, Toby Keith and Keith Urban as well as some older classics.

www.3cdigital.com or channel 724 if you have a freeview box, sorry don't know what channel it is on digital radio

London used to have a great Country and Western channel, but think when all the FM and digital stuff came in it went, like you I can't find a a C&W radio station for my car radio

If you have Freeview TV you should be able to listen to several Radio Stations including Country and Western on it.

I used to listen to country music for years. But since 9/11 this musical form has changed into something strident, inward looking and "patriotic" in a way which most europeans find ignorant and disturbing. It's very unusual to hear this type of music in the UK nowadays.

I mean come on now! would it hurt so much if you never heard a pedal steel guitar again?

Try normal radio, you'll find you have much more choice including Pirate stations !!

Any mental institution can section you 4 this. The only problem is that you can't turn over a tale of heartache and/or suicide if you've got a straitjacket on!!!
