Simply put, stuff is just stuff. Ever moved? You quickly find out how expendible worldly possessions are.
Better yet... ever had to dispose of the worldly goods of a deceased loved one? My father died last year. I am the only child, and he left no will. When people die, some bereaved hold on to their stuff as evidence of the deceased's life. For me, it was just stuff, and only gave trace evidence of the passing of the man.
