Maybe you have too many unresolved things on your mind.
Then your mind is like a train, that rides and rides without stations and you keep dragging your luggage with you:there is a solution:take one suitcase with you on that train:stop where you like:and dump the content of the suitcase.
Keep repeating this till all your luggage is gone:and more important:do not collect new luggage:deal with everything you come across.
I sleep like a baby since I do this:it does however have a downside:some will be offended by you,but if they are ?Not your problem any more.
I wish you good nights sleep and learn to dump.
Greetings from a well rested guy:Rob.xxxx

Meg...i think we have leaks in our respective auras...lol......*wink* I have heard it said..(Ahem...) that if we bevel our hair by the dark of the moon, the new moon.....the leak will stop and our circadian rhythms will go back to normal...now are you in or out with me on this one?
For every time you scraped a knee, cried a tear, missed a bus, made a train, or answered a question and ended up reading this answer to your query about insomnia...you are RIGHT ON TIME......the best is soooooooooo yet to come...i cannot sleep either and I am also in the Eastern Time Zone...no, it isn't the water.....but the planetary movements and a recent retrograde in Scorpio are sooooo messing with us right now..don't sweat it...it has a short run.......like an off Broadway thing...nothing to fear in electricity for spotlights.......lol....hope you get to sleep soon! And me too...but my cable just went out...alas...life is the most interesting bummer sometimes...but trust me...the journey and the destination Do jive.

I know much about this field, but there are so many possible causes that you should have a more detailed look into this.
You should consider :
- where do you live / air / noise
- what do you consume during the evening (tea / coffee / alcohol)
- maybe your body lacks physical training (often underestimated !)
- do you have stress in your job or otherwise
- what is your bed like
- do you use medication

I recommend you read the book written by Dr. M. Oz. I think it is called "The Diet of You". He was on Oprah yesterday and he had a lot to say about sleep. If I have the wrong title, go to Oprah's website and look it up.
Good luck.

Because you do nothing all day long. Active people do sleep as they are aware of the work that is waiting for them the next day.

Maybe you're too excited or anxious about something. Or you just had a boost of caffeine from a cup of coffee.
