and yet they all vote for him?

They hate him for his incompetence and shrewd methods. Many think Al Gore would have done a better job since he would focus on the american way of life via the environment and the socail status. I think they voted for George Bush because people like to have someone for a leader that they can critisize, such as John Howard, he is as goofy as hell and yet he is always voted for.

Bush is just a part of what is wrong. . .however, he holds the title of the number one guy, so he is the sum of all that is wrong. There is a group that runs his every move and helped place him in office. Trillions of dollars world wide depended on getting this party where it is and they are willing to spend whatever it takes to keep them there.

Cynically, one may even believe that these same people have their men and women in the Democratic Party as well. I some times find myself believing that, (even though I am a Democrat). I can only hope that my suspicions are wrong.

I was a very young man when I first realized what people will do for money. I lived in NYC and read an article in the newspaper about a man that was shot and killed for 35 cents! Thirty five CENTS! . . . Ever since that day, it has not been difficult for me to realize what men will do for millions, billions and now. . Trillions of dollars.

The world today is tied together with money, it has become the only way to obtain power in this country, and the more you have, the more power you can obtain. You do not have to be president. . .you just have to own one. . . and if you can own the president of these United States. . .well. . . the sky is the limit.

You can draw your own playing field, set up situations to take the money from the people and spread it to the wealthy. Where do you think, the indebted money from our country has gone to? I have to pay it off along with millions of people like me, so we don't have it. . . but it went somewhere, some one's pocket!!!

I don't hate Bush. . .I hate what he and his cohorts truly are. . .thugs, no better than the thug who robbed that man of his life, for 35 cents. Make no mistake about it, we are in debt, both in blood and money, and we can no longer stay the corse. . .

VOTE!. . .VOTE!. . .VOTE!. . .VOTE!. . .VOTE!. . .VOTE!. . .VOTE!. . .

Well Sally, we're not the ones who vote, you Americans do. You should specify this question to Americans. But I agree who in his right mind would choose Bush as president for two terms? People hate George Bush because of his foreign policy that is killing so many people. With aiding Israel, Palestine is moving into nonexistence. Then they say we want democracy in Palestine. Then when Hamas gets elected, no we don't want you. That's so hypocritical!!!!!!! It's not the US's place to tell the Palestinian people who to choose!!! When will they get out of the ME? We don't need the US to be the superheros.... :(

People are not happy with Bush because he lied about everything. They voted for him anyway because Karl Rove got the religious people in the country to believe that if they voted for a Democrat it would be the equivalent of voting for Satan. Hopefully this time around they will not be fooled again and they will plainly see that the Republicans have not done what they promised.

The people who hate Bush just find it easy to blame him for everything cos he's our president and an easy target. He's trying the best he can with the war in Iraq. Everyone makes mistakes, even though he said taht the war was over. But i mean if Gore was president i'd be terrified cos during the election he wasn't he sure what he was for/against and w/ the war we need someone can stand up and make rash decisions.
P.s. i'm democrat.

They may have voted for him, but the polls show they wouldn't today. Some vote anti-democrat, they may neither like or dislike Bush. Plus we have 500 varieties of wine but two yoyo's to chose for President?

"They all vote for him?"

Gore got more votes, remember? &*^%ing electoral college...to hell with that blasted institution! It's almost as bad as marriage.

Anywho, I think Bush got re-elected because they wanted him to "stay the course" with Iraq (and we can see how well *that's* turned out). That, and Democrats have done a piss-poor job of defining exactly how they as a party would do things differently.

Better Question: Why do so many people appreciate George Bush's leadership, honesty, integrity, ability to surround himself with bright, educated, brilliant public servants, and vote for him?

republicans have a very loyal base in the southeast. 60 percent of americans are conservatives so that helps the party. his supply side subscription allows him to receive millions in donations from wall street and he uses that money to get re elected. most of america is polarized. 2008 will essentially be the same as 2000 and 2004. democrats must win ohio or florida to wint he presidency. republicans have to win both states to win. it's close and that explains the mud slinging i guess.
