They will both make breif appearances in the future but niether is coming back too a full time contract.
Rock has a valid and long term prospect in the movie industry. If you had too pick between making movies for a living or taking chair shots for a living... what would you pick? Movies pay more!
Steve... Well... His knees are damaged beyond belief. He reallly is in a hard way. He just can't do this any more. I'll miss him.

As Far as I know, The rock will not be returning and ill be really shocked if he does return. Since he left he's been in movie after movie after movie. I think hes moved on since in the wwe. He wanted to do more of a movie career.
Austin, may be appearing here and there when they have past superstar shows, but I doubt he;ll be back full time, as much as I want those two to return they won't atleast not full time. Austin and vince M. have had too many problems with eachother in the past and left on bad terms

Out of the two, Stone Cold is more likely to come back. But if either one of them did it would only be short term things.
