Because 'striving' to be nice seems desperate and fake.
If someone is really nice they dont have to strive for it.
And everyone has the sense to differentiate fake from genuine.

You carry on as you are there are enough silly .............. out there who think it's cool to act like ................and follow the gang like sheep.
Be yourself if that's nice so be it we could do with more people especial teen ages who use manners respect people etc ect
