that I should go off for a shower, and come back in a better mood and stop picking on the Americans...... anyone else agree with the lady in question?
I have actually had a shower though, I could go and have a cup of tea though......

I really don't think she was implying that I smelled, she probably had the sense to realise it was morning and it could be a better pastime than to insult Americans on here.

Well obviously it is one of those Americans that ride the short bus. I have not taken any offense to anything that you have said so far. If you have photos of you in that shower go ahead any send them to all of us. :-)

I am an American and I have an opinion about Americans myself, many Americans are narrow minded people. That's why I live close to New York City and live in a diverse area so I can get to know other cultures.

Shower? It's only November - why rush it... And you pick on whomsoever you wish. I'm an American. I might suggest that you get to really know a few of us, as opposed to allowing our unsavory leaders to form your opinions - but that is entirely up to you.

Well Ellie29uk, I have only just got on to yahoo. It sounds like you have just caused a storm in America.
I am an Aussie and proud of it, but I like Americian people. I have a few penpals from all over America and they are my friends.
I hope you did not pick on them.

Why are Americans so tetchy. They're quite happy to rampage around the world bombing the crap out of everyone else, but say anything against them...

A "cuppa" is always nice. How do you take yours?
PS It's a bit presumptuous telling someone to go take a shower. Perhaps they prefer baths?

That's what I love most about the Americans.
They seem to think that it's possible to insult someone about their looks, weight, teeth and even - it seems - smell - when they haven't even seen them.
Case closed. Too thick for words, the lot of them.
