My favourite black and grey polka dot dress has blothes of green colour that is perhaps caused by another green shirt. What can I do to get rid of the green blothes????? Help....

you can try washing it in some oxy-clean or something. don't dry it until you get all the green out. not sure it will come out but you can try.

If you already dried it in the dryer, you might be SOL - Even if you already dried it, you could try spraying the splotches with some kind of pretreat or stain removal product, and let it sit for 10-15 minutes before you try to wash it again. If the splotches fade after you wash it, repeat the treatment and wash again until they're gone -DON'T put in the dryer until you get all of it out, becuz the dryer heat might set the stains permanently. Also, you might try using Dawn dish soap and rubbing it in good, but it might make the polka dots fade, too, so only try the Dawn as a last resort.

Is it silk? I had a silk blouse attempt this and not in any respect something worked I had to throw it away :0( If its cotton there might want to be desire. notwithstanding you try do not dry it till eventually you comprehend it worked. drying gadgets the stain. It doesn't might want to be sweat deodorant and body oils will go away stains besides.

If your dress is a delicate fabric, just take it to your local dry cleaners. If it's a durable fabric, you can try stain remover.
Also.........it may sound harsh, but know when to give up and move on. I usually end up spending way too much time trying to salvage a lost garment.
